Data Deletion
You can remove your data from Cassit at three levels, effective immediately:
- A channel: disconnecting a channel asks the platform to revoke Cassit's access and deletes its stored access token from the encrypted vault. Its published history stays in your dashboard until you remove the brand.
- A brand: removing a brand from the dashboard erases its channels, tokens, content history, publish ledger, insights, and media bytes.
- Everything: email support@cassit.app from your account email requesting full deletion; the workspace, account record, and all associated data are erased within 30 days, with confirmation sent when complete.
Revoking Cassit's access
Deleting data and revoking access are two separate things, and you can do either first.
- YouTube and Google: open Google's third-party connections page, select Cassit, and choose to remove its access. Cassit loses the ability to reach your channel the moment you do. You can also disconnect the channel inside Cassit — Setup → the channel → Disconnect — which asks Google to revoke the same access and erases our stored token in the same step.
- Facebook and Instagram: Facebook Settings → Business Integrations → remove Cassit.
- TikTok: TikTok Settings → Security and permissions → Manage app permissions.
Revoking access stops all further activity but does not by itself erase what is already stored — use one of the three deletion levels above for that.
Media retention is bounded even without a request: originals are fully erased 14 days after a verified publish, and unapproved uploads after 30 days.
